Bios: Kristin McCoskey currently serves as Senior Manager in Nuclear Fuels at Constellation, overseeing the Boiling Water Reactor Cycle Management Group. Kristen has held a variety of roles in her 20 years with the nuclear power industry. Previous positions with Constellation have included - Reactor Engineering Manager, Nuclear Fuels Manager of Fuel Reliability and Vendor Oversight, Lead Cycle Manager in the BWR Cycle Management Group, and as an engineer in the Nuclear Fuels Safety Analysis Group. Kristen received a BS in NPRE from UIUC. Joseph Serio is currently the Senior Software Engineer for the Dresden simulator, with Constellation Energy. He received a BS and MS from NPRE at UIUC. While completing his master’s degree, he took a researcher position at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, where his work focused on data analysis of synchrotron XRD data of novel alloys, as well as analysis of Pb-free solder materials for electric applications. He was hired as the Software Engineer to support the nuclear training simulator at Dresden Clean Energy Center in 2018, and has since worked on Dresden’s simulator and provided fleetwide support for nuclear fuel simulation implementations. Dr. David Sikorski is currently a Senior Simulator Software Engineer at Constellation Energy. He received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in aerospace engineering from Iowa State University. He then worked as an aerospace engineer in the defense sector, where he primarily worked on modeling and simulation of aerospace vehicles. Dr. Sikorski returned to academia to earn his PhD in nuclear engineering at the University of Tennessee. There he worked with Oak Ridge National Laboratory and NASA to study autonomous control and modeling and simulation of nuclear thermal rocket engines. He now manages the nuclear training simulator software at the Clinton Clean Energy Center Nuclear Training Department. |
