The Asian American Cultural Center is hosting a South Asian American Leadership Conference on Saturday, February 22nd. This is a new initiative for the AACC and we hope to continue this program annually. South Asian Americans are one of the most rapidly growing groups in Illinois and the nation. The South Asian American Leadership Conference was created to educate and empower students to network and develop relations among South Asian students to foster unity, strengthen the community, provide opportunities for leadership development, and offer safe spaces to talk about the issues and challenges South Asian American students face.

Registration Check-In will be on Friday, February 21st at the Asian American Cultural Center (1210 W. Nevada, Urbana, Il 61801) from 4pm-9pm.
A variety of workshops will be offered on Saturday, February 22nd from 9am-3pm followed by a variety show at 5pm in Lincoln Theatre.
