THIS EVENT IS FREEHome ownership is an important variable to help decrease racial disparities that exist in Champaign County. We will review the history of redlining nationally and in our community, look at current statistics as it relates to home ownership, and define the wealth gap as it relates to race. Overall, the focus is on historical and current racial inequities from a data perspective as it relates to housing in real numbers.
