A practical and evidence informed workshop that focuses on the importance of stress identification and how stress functions within and impacts the body. This workshop will focus on practical sensory coping and self care techniques that will help reduce the impact of stress on the brain and body.
Learning Objectives:
• Raise awareness of the results of cumulative life stressors, understand the impact of that stress that can result in burnout, depression, anxiety and physical health conditions.
• Equip individuals with the ability to create healthy habits that improve home and work environments.
• Identify practical sensory coping mechanisms that will allow for a reduction of stress producing hormones and improve overall wellbeing.
