The Iranian Cultural Association at UIUC cordially invites you to join us for a Yalda Night celebration, one of the most ancient and cherished Iranian festivals. Yalda Night, which marks the longest night of the year, is a symbol of the triumph of light over darkness and the beginning of a new period of brightness. The celebration typically includes poetry recitations, storytelling, traditional music, and special foods such as pomegranates and watermelon, representing cultural and social connection in Iranian heritage.
