Dr. Peter Gleick will share his innovative research on water conservation and the steps that can be taken by governments, corporations, and private citizens to ensure that water remains a readily available resource in the future.

Dr. Peter Gleick is a world-renowned expert, innovator, and communicator on water and climate issues. In 1987 he co-founded the Pacific Institute in Oakland, which he led as president until mid-2016, when he became president emeritus. The Pacific Institute in one of the US' most innovative and independent NGOs addressing the connections between the environment and global sustainability. Dr. Gleick received the prestigious MacArthur "Genius" Fellowships and in 2006 was elected to the National Academy of Sciences.
