Grad School-Ready Series

Why are personal statements so important? How do I begin? What makes my statement stand out from other applicants? Join us on October 15 at 5 p.m. for this virtual workshop, where you’ll learn strategies to understand prompts, organize your ideas, and start drafting a statement that communicates your strengths, fit, and potential value to graduate programs. You’ll also learn how, once you have drafted your personal statement, you can submit it online to The Career Center for personalized feedback.

Note: Pre-health students considering graduate or professional programs in healthcare or the health professions should connect with the Pre-Health at Illinois advising team for specialized guidance. To learn more, visit: careercenter@illinois.edu/prehealth.

This event will be held virtually via Zoom. Please register in advance at https://go.illinois.edu/GradSchoolPersonalStatement.
