The next installment of the Local Foods Small Farms Summer Field Day Series will bring participants to The Talking Farm in Skokie to explore how water and nutrient management influence stem quality, yield, and plant health. The field day will also highlight practical strategies for improving production efficiency and consistency for urban vegetable farms interested in adding a cut-flower enterprise.
