Starting Your Powerful Cover Letter

While cover letters might seem old-fashioned, they’re still an important part of many job applications today. This introductory workshop is great for students who are writing a cover letter for the first time or aren’t sure what to include. You’ll learn how a well-crafted cover letter completes the picture your resume begins—tailoring it to the position you’re applying for, showcasing your strengths, and making a memorable first impression. Registration is highly encouraged but not required.

Important Note: Sometimes our workshops get very crowded. We recommend registering on Handshake in advance to secure your spot. While registration isn’t required, priority will be given to registered students, followed by first-come, first-served. Once we reach room capacity, we may not be able to admit additional attendees.
