In this interactive session, we will discuss strategies for adapting research content to technical, general scientific, and lay audiences. In addition, we will offer tips for successful communication in professional settings such as conference and poster presentations.

Join us after the presentation for networking with our Graduate Student Ambassadors.

This event is open to current Grainger Engineering graduate students. Online registration is required to attend. Pizza will be provided.

About the Presenter
Dr. Laura Stengrim is an Associate Teaching Professor in the Department of Communication at the University of Illinois and Director of the Speakers Workshop, a campus-wide resource that assists with preparing presentations in any discipline/major at any stage. The Speakers Workshop also supports Engineer SPEAK in collaboration with the Grainger College of Engineering.
