International Student and Scholar Services will be hosting a Farsi Names training. Our names trainings provide valuable opportunities to learn the cultural background and native pronunciation of names in the home country and native language(s) of our student presenters. This time, we will have two students from Iran present about the Farsi language and guide participants through different examples of names.
This training is open to faculty, staff, and graduate assistants.

Feel free to either include in your submission or come to the training with examples of names you’d like to review! This is how most participants gain the most and learn interactively through our names trainings.
