CEAPS Events Calendar

The Midwest Forum on Chinese Literature and Culture is devoted to fostering dialogue on relevant topics among the faculty and graduate students of Indiana University (IU), University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), and other Midwest universities. The 2019 Forum focuses on pre-modern subjects. Activities include a workshop and a scholarly talk on pre-modern Chinese drama by Professor Stephen West (Arizona State University), a workshop on traditional Chinese literary criticism by Professor Chunhong Wang (Lingnan University, Hong Kong), and another on medieval Chinese narrative literature by Manling Luo (Indiana University), as well as a roundtable with other IU and UIUC faculty (Zong-qi Cai, and Jingling Chen, and Tie Xiao). The forum will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at the Hamilton Lugar School of Global and International Studies, Indiana University, Bloomington, IN.
