LAS Educational Excellence is seeking 1-3 new "LAS Educational Excellence Mentors" to join our Educational Excellence Mentor team.
Deadline for Submission: Monday, June 22, 2026
Program Facilitator: Cassandra Rosado (crosado2@illinois.edu)Examples of the type of mentorship and activities that the mentors are expected to participate in include the following:
- Develop, present, and/or host seminar series or interest groups on teaching-related topics
- Participate regularly in the Fall 2026 LAS New Faculty Teaching Program
- Facilitate reciprocal-peer observations and reflection discussions
- Develop teaching development online toolkits in key areas
The time commitment for this position is estimated to be 20 hours in Fall 2026 semester and 20 hours in Spring 2027 semester.
