Three-part series for faculty who want to foster impactful undergraduate research learning
Student-faculty research collaborations help undergraduates meet learning objectives, build confidence, and develop valuable skills. This workshop series will support faculty in designing new, collaborative research opportunities for undergraduates in their units. Learn from LAS faculty — in the natural, social, and behavioral sciences as well as in the humanities — who have proven effective in supporting collaborative research with undergraduates and get help developing a PURSUE LAS proposal to fund your own pilot program.
Sessions take place on Thursdays, 12:30 - 1:30pm in Lincoln Hall 2043:
- Thursday, March 26, 2026: Impactful Student-Faculty Research Collaborations and the PURSUE LAS Initiative
- Thursday, April 2, 2026: Ask Us Anything: An Expert Panel of Undergraduate Research Mentors from across LAS
- (No meeting Thursday, April 9)
- Thursday, April 16, 2026: PURSUE LAS Proposal-Writing Workshop
Participants may attend one or all sessions. Register now.
Boxed lunches will be provided to registered participants at Session #1.Hosted by LAS Educational Excellence & LAS Office of Research
