Marcos Ayala, award-winning artistic director, dancer, and choreographer, has created a thrilling program for Tango Argentina’s inaugural tour of the United States. Twelve of Argentina’s greatest tango dancers and musicians, including featured couple Ivana Ayala and Pedro Sanchiz, express tango’s elegance, sensuality, and charisma from its historic roots through the present day. The quartet Tango Bardo performs Tango Argentina’s live music and is made up of Juan Miguens on double bass, Lucas Furno on violin, Santiago Polimeni on bandoneon, and Hugo Hoffmann on piano. This spectacular music and dance performance carries audiences on an unforgettable tango journey!

This performance will last approximately 85 minutes including a 20-minute intermission.

If you can, show your love for the arts by purchasing an “Advocate” ticket; the additional ticket cost directly benefits Krannert Center.
