CUSO’s 60th-anniversary season concludes with brilliant works that will resound magnificently in the glorious acoustics of the Foellinger Great Hall. From the scampering adventures of Strauss’ Till Eulenspiegel to the triumphant “surround-sound” conclusion of Respighi’s Pines of Rome, listeners will enjoy the full color and power of the symphony orchestra. The University of Illinois Women’s Glee Club will add their voices to beautiful and beguiling music by Gabriel Fauré. Bassist extraordinaire Michael Cameron will dazzle in Paganini’s Rossini-inspired variations.
