Join us for Leveraging LinkedIn for Networking, a career development workshop designed to help you make the most of LinkedIn.
In a competitive job market, students face unique challenges with job searching and networking. This practical workshop will empower you to effectively use LinkedIn to enhance your profiles and connect with industry professionals. This workshop is open to both domestic and international students. Students will also learn how to engage their unique backgrounds in creating and utilizing their LinkedIn profile.
Discover how to:
• Create and optimize your profiles and understand the importance of maintaining a professional online presence.
• Learn how to search for professional connections on LinkedIn and approach them with customized messages.
• Connect with industry professionals and alumni, use LinkedIn for job and internship searches, and engage with employers to build meaningful and lasting connections.Important Note: Sometimes our workshops get very crowded. We recommend registering on Handshake in advance to secure your spot. While registration isn’t required, priority will be given to registered students, followed by first-come, first-served. Once we reach room capacity, we may not be able to admit additional people.
