The Center for Innovation in Teaching & Learning is dedicated to promoting, enhancing, and assessing teaching effectiveness and student learning. We assist faculty, academic units, and teaching assistants in improving instruction. In addition to the events listed below, we are always available for individual consultations or special activities within a department or college. Most of the workshops count toward CITL certificate program continuing education credit. Please check back often to see what events have been added. Friday Forum Series. With proper planning hybrid courses can offer students the best of online and in-class learning opportunities. This fast-paced overview offers practical tips for modifying an existing course into a hybrid one, including developing a new course narrative, planning and scheduling learning activities, and building a learning community in class and online. You'll also have an opportunity to preview our new eText on Hybrid course design.
