To start your course off right, you need first to figure out what counts as success in your course: what do you want your students to learn?  Learning objectives are brief statements about what students should be able to do as a result of your course.  By the end of this workshop, you will be able to write learning objectives in a useful form, use Bloom’s Taxonomy to make sure your objectives are at the appropriate level, and evaluate your learning objectives.

This workshop is part of the 2020 Summer Workshop Series.  Each workshop in the series involves pre-work to complete before attending a Zoom session.  Register to be sent the Zoom link for the session and to be informed of the pre-work.

Completing the pre-work and participating in the Zoom session will count for 1.5 hours towards the workshop requirement of the Graduate Teacher Certificate or the Certificate in Foundations of Teaching.
