A celebration of food, music, culture, and identity across the African Diaspora, this collaborative event from the Black and Diversity Centers of Illinois, UIS, and UIC explores how food shapes tradition, politics, and social justice.
The Bookstore will be present from 6-7:30pm with copies of Smith's book: Food Power Politics: The Food Story of the Mississippi Civil Rights Movement.
