The talk will summarize three projects focused on the development and application of the protein design software Rosetta: (1) stabilization of the major surface protein from Dengue virus for use as a subunit vaccine, (2) the engineering of light-responsive proteins that can be used to recruit proteins to specific locations in the cell, and (3) the de novo design of new protein structures from pieces of naturally occurring proteins.
