Speaker Bio - Born in Michigan and moved to Arizona at age 6, Michael Schnell grew up enjoying wrestling and reading. Michael is enjoying raising 2, 6-month-old Great Dane puppies (Sisters). Michael spends his time working around the house, watching sci-fi with his wonderful wife and loves to cook! 

Manufacturing Overview - He began his career at Motorola working in the semiconductor division as a Manufacturing Specialist in 1991. In 1998 he took a temporary/contract position with Intel Corporation in Chandler, AZ. working in Surface Mount Technology (SMT) as a Manufacturing Technician (MT) until 1999. He returned to Intel Corp in 2000 with a second temp contract working in wafer sort operation at Fab 6 in Chandler, AZ. He finished out his contract moving over to Assembly Test Technology Development (ATTD) doing SMT activities. (Total of 12 months combined). He was hired into Intel Corp in Jan of 2001 working as a MT in a “middle” SMT process (Epoxy) then transferring to a “starting” SMT process known as Chip Attach Module (CAM). During his time in manufacturing, he has had many opportunities working in this field; including world class training, good benefits, climate- controlled environment and the benefit of working with an extremely intelligent and diverse workforce.
