On Monday, March 10th SourceLab will be hosting an Undergraduate Info Session at 3 PM and a Digital Humanites talk with Sep Vaez Afshar and Sarvin Eshaghi at 4PM.
Attend the Undergraduate Info Session to learn more about how to get involved with SourceLab, and sign up to attend one of our workshops.
Stick around for the Digital Humanities talk to learn more about how researchers at our own university are using Digital Humanities tools to rewrite Turkish history. Sep Vaez Afshar and Sarvin Eshaghi, researchers from the I-School, will talk about their experiences with the SILK project, a collaborative, international project to map and preserve caravansaries across Turkey using digital methods. SILK has produced more than 30 interactive 3D models of historical caravansaries.
