This presentation explores how Tribal Relations Administrators serve as bridges between Tribal Nations and non-Native colleges and universities. Rooted in Indigenous methodologies, Tribal Critical Race Theory, and Indigenous Community Planning, the research highlights how these professionals navigate spaces of caretaking and power, build reciprocal relationships, and resist settler colonial practices. Findings offer guidance for developing sustainable policies that center Indigenous knowledge, strengthen accountability, and support Indigenous futurity in higher education.
Lunch will be served at noon following the workshop and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
