HWW Grand Research Challenge Showcase with Bob Morrissey

Attend the first session of the Grand Research Challenge showcase, where professor Bob Morrissey will be presenting some of the outcomes of his project, “Reclaiming Stories: (Re)connecting Indigenous Painted Hides to Communities through Collaborative Conversations.” 

The Humanities Without Walls consortium has been proud to support the work of professor Morrissey through the Grand Research Challenge grantmaking initiative.

Through modes of research partnership that are reciprocal and redistributive, the projects funded by the Grand Research Challenge demonstrate that “humanities without walls” is not only a metaphor but also a strategic commitment to imagining and doing academic work more inclusively—striving for equity and partnership at all levels of the work. Professor Morrissey’s collaboration with the Miami and Peoria Tribes exemplifies these values.
