Students are invited to a workshop and lunch with Barb Markoff (BS ’94, journalism), investigative producer at ABC7 Chicago. Markoff has covered major stories ranging from political corruption and organized crime to national political conventions and the Iraq War. Known for her investigations into former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich and other high-profile public corruption cases, she was the senior producer of the Hulu docuseries Being Blago. Most recently, she led ABC7’s coverage of the Conclave in Vatican City and the election of Chicago-born Pope Leo XIV.
