Join us as we bring one of C-U's powerhouse voices to Krannert Center Uncorked on November 19!
J'Lyn Hope is a multidisciplinary artist whose work explores the transformative power of imagination. Blending jazz, rock, soul, and improvisation, she creates dynamic musical experiences that blur the boundaries between sound, feeling, and discovery.
Known for her expressive voice and magnetic energy, Hope uses her loop station to build intricate layers of music in real time, transforming her voice into rhythm, melody, harmony, and texture. She describes these creations as "sound paintings"—where the color of her voice follows the brushstrokes of her creativity.
Her work is rooted in the belief that art is a powerful tool that encourages us to reach beyond our notions of what is possible, tapping into the magic of what lies beyond. The love, light, and hope infused throughout her art awaken the dreamer in us all.
Come see J'Lyn Hope November 19 at Stage 5 in the Krannert Center lobby. Enjoy a beverage from our Stage 5 bar and connect with friends old and new.
All Krannert Center Uncorked performances are free on select Thursdays from 5:30-7pm.
