Austria and the US: Standards of Proof in Comparative Perspective
Presented by Professor Peter Lewisch

Professor Peter Lewisch holds a doctorate in law and economics and is full professor of criminal and constitutional law and Director of the Center for the Economic Analysis of Law at the University of Vienna. He was short-listed by the Austrian government for the position of the Austrian judge at the European Court for Human Rights in 2014. His main fields of research include: criminal law, constitutional law (including human rights), European Union law, procedural law, regulatory and competition law, and law and economics. He remains a practicing lawyer and has edited a book on the legal challenges of digitalization and artificial intelligence.
