Help save energy with Illini Lights Out (ILO)! Join hundreds of students on Friday nights to shut off lights in buildings across campus to save energy, cut utility costs, and avert greenhouse gas emissions!
iSEE's energy-saving program kicks off Friday, Sept. 4, and four more events are scheduled during the fall semester on Sept. 25, Oct. 16, Nov. 13, and Dec. 4.
Volunteers gather at the Literatures, Cultures and Linguistics Buildling at 5 p.m. for brief instructions, then form lights-out brigades that fan out across campus to shut off lights for the weekend! Volunteering takes about an hour and a half — and you can get a cookie for your efforts!
Join us to help save energy, cut utility costs, and avert emissions!
NOTE: You must register separately for each ILO date. Please sign up individually even if you are part of an RSO so we can plan for enough treats!
