Join citizens of the Peoria Tribe of Indians of Oklahoma this Labor Day weekend for a stomp and social dance at Cahokia Mounds State Historic Site in Collinsville, Illinois.
Cahokia is a place of deep significance to many tribal nations, including the Peoria. This gathering offers an opportunity for Peoria citizens to engage in cultural activities in their homelands.
All are welcome to attend, dance, learn, and enjoy the gathering. Spectators are encouraged to participate respectfully by observing, listening, and honoring the cultural traditions being shared.
Bring a lawn chair. Please note that drugs and alcohol are not permitted.
