Curious what it’s really like to be an Army ROTC cadet at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign?
Join us for the Day in the Life of an Army ROTC Cadet (DILARC), an immersive visit experience for prospective students exploring leadership, college life, and the opportunities available through Illinois Army ROTC.
Participants will be paired with current cadets and get a firsthand look at cadet life, which will include:
- Morning Physical Readiness Training (optional observation or participation)
- Breakfast with cadets
- Attending classes and exploring campus
- Visiting the historic Armory
- Hands-on leadership and ROTC activities
- Learning about scholarships, career pathways, and post-graduation opportunities
Eligible students will also have the opportunity to earn an Illinois State Tuition Waiver, which can cover up to one full academic year of tuition.
