Come join the Gender & Sexuality Resource Center (GSRC) on Tuesday, April 14, from 6:00–7:30 p.m. for an engaging discussion with guest speaker and UIUC alum Shige Sakurai exploring the intersections of LGBTQ+ and Asian American life. A social justice advocate and spiritual leader, Shige will share personal stories and guide conversations on community, culture, identity, and activism. Shige is the founder of International Pronouns Day, the author of pronouns.org, and the first person in the U.S. to receive an official X-marker nonbinary driver’s license and has been recognized with the Washington, D.C. Mayor’s Award for Community Service. We hope to see you there!
