In this talk, Dr. Rosario I. Granados (Blanton Museum of Art / UT-Austin) will consider how historical garments, paintings, prints, and archival materials have been used to trace a history of dress in Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Mexico during the second half of the colonial period (1670-1820). This talk is part of the Costumes & Customs Lecture Series which will feature distinguished speakers. All lectures will be held via Zoom and are free and open to the public.
