We’re excited to invite you to our next CRI Public Research Series event: Introducing the Medical Cannabis Competency Framework: Evidence, Rationale, and Relevance
📅 Monday, December 1, 2025
⏰ 12:00–1:00 PM (CT)
📍 Virtual on Zoom
Medical cannabis use is expanding rapidly, yet most clinicians and trainees report limited preparation to guide patients. This session introduces the recently published JAMA Network Open consensus statement, “Developing Medical Cannabis Competencies,” which identifies six evidence-based competencies to guide undergraduate medical education.
Dr. Leslie Mendoza Temple, a coauthor of the framework, will discuss the Delphi consensus process, summarize the six core competencies, and discuss how these evidence-informed foundations can close existing knowledge gaps in health professions education.
