A compelling story of a city that once served as a vital hub, connecting Palestine to the world. Lyd explores its rich history, its present reality, and the possibilities of what it could have become. Through archival footage, personal narratives, and historical analysis, the film sheds light on the forces that shaped Lyd’s past and continue to define its future.

Following the screening, Professor Laura Goffman (Department of History) will lead a discussion, offering deeper insights into the film’s themes and historical significance.
