Neil, Champaign) is offering this lecture as part of "A Taste of OLLI". Drawn from his forthcoming book, The Second Battle for Africa: Garveyism, the US Heartland, and Global Black Freedom, Professor McDuffie will discuss the diasporic journeys and the grassroots, pan-African activism of Louise Little, the Grenada-born community activist best known as the mother of Malcolm X.
