Fulbright-Hays fellowships help students conduct dissertation research abroad in modern foreign languages and area studies. Projects are supported that focus on Africa, East Asia, Southeast Asia & the Pacific Islands, South Asia, the Near East, Central & Eastern Europe & Eurasia, and the Western Hemisphere (excluding the US & its territories). The campus application deadline is January 6, 2025.
Applicants must be citizens, nationals, or permanent residents of the United States. Permanent residents may not apply to conduct research in their country of origin.
The Graduate College's Office of External Fellowships will host an information session to introduce students to the fellowship and explain the rather complex guidelines and application procedure. All students considering applying should attend the information session. For details, visit the Fulbright-Hays listing in Fellowship Finder.
