Workshop description
Are you a web developer, admin, IT Pro, Leader, or Stakeholder that wants to learn how to send authenticated email that is trusted and is delivered correctly? Are you currently working with an off campus hosted vendor and need to send email from their site but need it branded and trusted from an Illinois domain? Do you want to grow in your knowledge of how email is sent and delivered so that email is properly delivered and not flagged as spam or malware?
If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, then this presentation is for you! During this workshop, Eric and James will cover email authentication basics, why email authentication is important and becoming more so in the future, and how we have approached solving this issue at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign campus. At the end of the presentation, there will be a question-and-answer time so conference participants can ask and get answers to their email questions.
