This workshop will introduce the En-ROADS Simulator developed by Climate Interactive to explore the impacts of policy decisions on the global climate. After reviewing climate model basics, the speakers will review the structure of the En-Roads model and demonstrate how to interact with the web interface. From there, the speakers and participants will work together in groups to develop and compare climate success scenarios that limit global temperatures to 1.5 degrees Celsius by the year 2100. At the end, participants will reflect upon what they’ve learned and how they can get involved in bringing our climate success scenarios to life!
