Mark Andryczyk, Associate Research Scholar in Ukrainian studies at the Harriman Institute, Columbia University, is the author of the monograph The Intellectual as Hero in 1990s Ukrainian Fiction (2012) and is a translator of Ukrainian literature into English. Andryczyk is editor of The White Chalk of Days, the Contemporary Ukrainian Literature Series Anthology ( 2017) and of Writing from Ukraine: Fiction, Poetry and Essays since 1965 (2022). He will discuss Volodymyr Rafeyenko’s latest novel, Mondegreen, which he also translated.
