Israeli Independence Day. Celebrated by displaying the flag of Israel, family gatherings, fireworks, barbecues, picnics and concerts. This observance begins at sundown of the first day and ends at sundown of the last day. Israeli's usually take this day off. Some students or employees may request scheduling accomodations in order to observe.
