From Professor Ghamari-Tabrizi: "Revolution ought to be envisioned as a moment of pause in, rather than acceleration of, historical time, a moment of reflection on the progressive temporalities that operate as second nature in modern times. Revolution does not reflect the manifestation of historical inevitabilities. It needs to be understood as a leap into the open air of possibilities of making rather than realizing history along the same preconceived lines of historical progress." Join us in person at Levis Faculty Center 108 or watch the live stream on YouTube at go.illinois.edu/HRIstream.
