As states reopen and communities prepare for post-pandemic recovery from COVID-19 and systemic racism, FAA's Arts Impact Initiative will host a panel discussion:
to address timely questions regarding the future of creative labor and economies and to provide relevant information and resources for decision-making across the arts and culture sectors.
This public event aims to facilitate a much-needed dialogue about the challenges and opportunities facing creative communities as the reemerge and reimagine equitable futures for art and artists.
The hour-long panel discussion features guest panelists
- Jamie Bennett, Interim President & CEO, United States Artists
- Dr. Cynthia Oliver, Professor of Dance and Associate Vice Chancellor for Research in the Humanities, Arts, and Related Fields at the University of Illinois
- Dr. Jennifer Novak-Leonard, Associate Research Director of Arts Impact Initiative in the College of Fine and Applied Arts
- Kevin Hamilton (moderator), Dean, College of Fine and Applied Arts
