The University of Illinois Alumni Association is excited to launch Career Connections, a new professional and personal development series for alumni and current students! Please join us for our first Career Connections workshop on April 15 at 6-7 p.m. (CT).
Join Ross Wantland, Director of Curriculum Development and Education in the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, for a workshop on modern-day racism in professional settings, like workplaces and graduate classrooms. The workshop will focus on the personal skills for addressing racism and building antiracist and fair-minded spaces.
Ross Wantland works with the University of Illinois Office of the Vice Chancellor for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion supporting campus units to create fair-minded and socially just organizations. Previously, Ross has worked in Diversity & Social Justice Education and the Women’s Resources Center.
