DESCRIPTION: From holiday “get togethers” to work meetings, everyone is on Zoom all the time. It’s one of the easiest ways to connect with people these days, but fatigue comes along with that ease. We’ll highlight several settings and fundamentals to Zoom to improve live events, presentations, recorded material, and more. We’ll demonstrate additional software to infuse your Zoom-ing with professionalism. We’ll stretch our creativity to work within technology and distancing confines to break the molds!

PRESENTER: Bob Dignan has worked in media production on the Illinois campus for over 10 years, focusing on instructional media. He collaborates with talented producers, editors, visual designers, librarians, systems engineers, faculty across campus, as well as other specialists at the Center for Innovation in Teaching & Learning (CITL). Some publicly available works from the CITL team include: campus MOOCs, event livestreaming (e.g. President Barack Obama), Audio Description, and “Dear A/V.”
