Smallholder womxn coffee producers make 40% less than their male counterparts, although they make up 70% of the workforce in coffee farmers. In this talk, Abhinav will share the story of how he co-founded a social enterprise while in college that works to disrupt the status quo so that smallholder womxn can lead their families and communities towards a sustainable future. Abhinav is the co-founder of Bean Voyage, a non-profit that provides training and direct market access to smallholder womxn coffee producers in Costa Rica.
