Robyn Gabel

Robyn Gabel is a Democratic member of the Illinois House of Representatives, representing the 18th District since April 19, 2010. Her legislative priorities include affordable, accessible health care, environment and sustainability issues, education, and economic development. Representative Gabel is a strong advocate for expanding end-of-life options and a founding member of the Illinois End of Life Options Coalition. She has a B.A. from Beloit College, an M.S.P.H. from the University of Illinois at Chicago, School of Public Health and an M.J. in Health Law from Loyola University.

 

Amy Sherman

As the Midwest regional campaign manager for Compassion & Choices, a national non-profit organization, Amy Sherman is an advocate for expanding end of life options and empowering people to take charge of their own journeys. She is leading a statewide coalition in Illinois, in partnership with Final Options Illinois and the ACLU of Illinois, and oversees activities in several other Midwestern states. Earlier in her career, Amy earned a law degree from Northwestern University School of Law and practiced in the area of employment law.
