Conéctate is a program designed for Latinx students to experience the campus life that awaits them at Illinois. This year, Conéctate will be held virtually on Wednesday, August 12th and Thursday, August 13, 2020.

More about Conéctate:
This two-day program will provide Latinx college students in a predominantly white institution (PWI) the opportunity to explore the concept of Latinidad by empowering their sense of belonging and identity. Attendees can expect to learn more about the university’s academic rigor from current faculty, acquire resources that will help them succeed on campus, and meet current students who will share how they navigate their various responsibilities.
The program consists of three different modules:
- Sense of belonging
- Developing student-faculty relationship
- Balancing responsibilities
