Dr. Kelsey Dayle John (Diné) will talk about her research and work with her community (human and nonhuman) in Navajo Nation. In the Navajo worldview, horses are healers and educators. Her talk will describe her community relations and how the horse is a leader on decolonization, healing, and connecting people in a good way.

Dr. John is a Post Doctoral Research Associate in American Indian Studies at the University of Arizona.
