The State of New Mexico contains 23 Tribes and pueblos and borders Mexico to the south. This creates unique challenges and opportunities both for unaccompanied minors and youth and the systems who work to support them.
Previously a lecturer on youth and policy at Stanford Law School, Brian Blalock co-founded a $100 million initiative targeting chronic youth homelessness in San Francisco prior to taking up his current Cabinet post.
